2010 Idaho Police K-9 Seminar

IPCA 2010 Conference: June 6th - June 12th 2010 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

At this time only 50 rooms are reserved so get them quick!

 Direction: From I-90 westbound take exit #12 (Hwy 95 exit.) At the stop light take a left and head southbound on Hwy 95. Look to your left and you will see Wild Waters Water park and the AmeriTel Inn. Continue southbound to Ironwood Dr. Take a left on Ironwood Dr. and enter the parking lot which will take you back to the hotel.

 ***UPDATE*** This years seminar should prove to be mentally and physically challenging and entertaining for both handlers and K-9's. We are still planning scenarios on an on-going basis. At this time your instructors for the June 2010 IPCA conference are as follows: Rickey Farley, Mark Storey from Cowetta, GA, Cody Benslay  and the crew of Alabama Canine Law Enforcement Training Center (ACLEOTC).  We are also considering having Jeff Barrett teach a tactical tracking class for those who are interested.  Additionally we will be using Idaho POST certified instructors throughout this event.  ******ATTENTION BOMB DOG HANDLERS ****** You need to be sure to bring your bomb training aids.

  This years conference is going to be a good time for one and all. We are changing things up quite a bit by separating the detection dog training from the patrol dog training. Detector dog handlers or dual purpose handlers attending detection will need to check into the AmeriTel Hotel no later than the evening of June 5th.  Detection training will start promptly at 8:00 AM on Sunday June 6th. Detector training will be June 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th. For patrol only K-9 handlers, training will start promptly at 0900 hrs. on Wednesday June 9th and conclude on June 12th . 

Tuition: $100.00/members $150.00 for non-members.  - You must schedule all K-9 evaluations at least one week in advance of seminar.
